First Show Booked

Good news, everybody!

Bear Hive has booked its first show, finally. Our good friend Mike Tomko has asked us to play the 5th annual "Indie Rock Ice Cream Social," and we were happy to say yes. The Sham had been asked to play it before, but we always had to say no due scheduling conflicts, so we are very excited we finally can.

We have a lot to accomplish before the show, though. We will be going into the studio sometime soon to record 2-4 songs that we will release online and on disc for free. We still have a few more songs to finish, too.

JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound are headlining the show, and that is awesome. They opened for The Dismemberment Plan in Chicago and blew us all away.

Come to the show. Maybe I'll make you a sundae. I want to come up with a contraption that will allow me to use the force from my kick drum to make shakes for people in the crowd. I don't know how that would work, but it would be sweet.

smethings missing.

is it this?

I think so. It feels good anyway...

Hello all, I don't have much to say right now.

I am excited to see what comes of this little endeavor,

especially once people can listen to it.

I don't much like sitting on the music like this,

and hiding it away.

Once they all get a little more abuse and polish they'll be out in the air

where they can breathe.

Until then, I'll be dreaming of you.

[and you too]

A hello, a goodbye, and notes for the future.

Hello everyone. If you are reading this chances are you have been led here by either one of us personally, or something related to the Sham. Either way, welcome to the home of our new project, Bear Hive.
